Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26, 1984, is an actor and comedian recognized for her deadpan style of humor. Plaza plays April Ludgate in "Parks and Recreation". After doing sketches and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater she first appeared in "The Jeannie Tate Show" and then appeared in "Funny People", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", as well as other web-based series. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter Bernadette Plaza of an attorney and David Plaza of a financial specialist. The birthplace of Aubrey Christina Plaza was Wilmington within Delaware. Her father is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza was educated at an all-girls Catholic school in 2002 and the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. The president was of her student body at her high school and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior years. When she was still in her sophomore year of college, Plaza was struck by a stroke. It left her with expressive aphasia as well as a time of paralysis. Her condition is currently recovering.
